Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ChoirZone. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

Last updated: 9 August 2026

1. The service

ChoirZone is a personal practice studio for choir singers, operated by Trädtopp BV. It lets you view scores, rehearse with per-voice audio, take notes, and practise your part. Creating a personal (solo) choir is free; adding other members requires a paid plan.

2. Your account

You need an account to use most features. Keep your login details secure and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account is for one person.

3. Acceptable use

  • Don’t upload or share content you don’t have the rights to.
  • Don’t misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service.
  • Don’t use ChoirZone for anything unlawful.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the scores, notes, and recordings you add. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, process, and display that content back to you and to the choir you share it with, solely to operate the service. You are responsible for having the rights to any score you upload.

5. Public library

ChoirZone’s public library is built from public-domain music (see our Credits & licensing page). If you believe a score infringes your rights, email support@choirzone.com and we will review and remove it promptly.

6. Plans, payments & cancellation

Choir subscriptions are billed per member-seat band and are managed through our website via Stripe. Paid plans renew automatically for the chosen period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings on the website; access continues until the end of the paid period. Prices are shown before you subscribe. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

7. Termination

You can stop using ChoirZone and delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the law.

8. Disclaimer & liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trädtopp BV is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, where Trädtopp BV is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The competent Belgian courts have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence grants you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; we’ll change the “last updated” date above and notify you of material changes. Continuing to use ChoirZone after a change means you accept the updated terms.
