About the choir

Are you a confident sight-reader with good vocal technique and high-level ensemble experience? Would you like to sing rewarding and challenging chamber choir repertoire with a professional conductor, perform Irish and world premieres in beautiful venues, compete and tour internationally, and make award-winning recordings? Are you available to rehearse from 7:30pm on Thursday evenings in central Dublin 2? We currently have a particular vacancy for a tenor and a low bass, although we are always interested in hearing from high-level ensemble singers. Apply now to audition with Cuore and sing with us for forthcoming performances, including site-specific recordings with contemporary composers, vocal workshops, candlelit carols, our annual Christmas concert with old favourites and contemporary premieres, a trip abroad, and recording sessions for our first album. Recording (welcome, not required)

A short extract (1 min) that shows your voice to best advantage. We mainly need to get an idea of the quality of your voice and your intonation, ideally without excess vibrato. Your solo does not need to be elaborate and can be unaccompanied. An extract from a solo classical song, a folk song, or a classical choral line are all fine; whichever suits you best.

MP3, M4A or WAV, up to 6 minutes and 20 MB. A phone recording is fine.
